Janet Parenti, age 68, of Valley Park, Missouri, passed away peacefully on May 22, 2026. Born on May 13, 1958, in Streator, Illinois, Janet lived her life with immense strength, courage, and a beautiful smile.

Throughout her life, Janet overcame many obstacles with fierce determination. She learned by example from her mother, Marlene, to never give up—a trait she carried with her until the very end. Above all else, Janet loved her family and close friends deeply. She shared a beautiful life with her loving husband, who cared for her devotedly through many seasons of life. Janet absolutely adored her two sons and held a uniquely special place in her heart for her only grandson, Mario. She showered him with endless love and attention, and her eyes would instantly light up the moment he entered the room. She will always be remembered for her unrelenting strength, determination, and unforgettable smile.

Janet was preceded in death by her beloved mother, Marlene. She is survived by her devoted husband, Pasquale Parenti; her sons, Salvo Parenti (and daughter-in-law Candace) and Ryan Parenti; and her cherished grandson, Mario Parenti.
