Janet passed away peacefully at Mercy Hospital St. Louis on September 26, 2022 at the age of 83. She was born in McLeansboro, Illinois on May 17, 1939. Predeceased in death by Bud and Melba Mertz. Lovingly remembered by her sons Brad and Alan Mitchell, cousins C.B. Carl Bergard, Martin and his wife Sharon, Marty and husband Don Bacon, Kimberly Tremmel and husband Ron. Janet worked at Shattingel Christian Music Store.
