Jean Margaret Rocchio (née Polklesner), born May 30, 1925, was fortified with the sacraments of the Holy Mother Church on Tuesday July 25, 2017. She was surrounded as always by her loving family in her final hours. Beloved wife of the late Pasquale J. Rocchio for 63 years; loving mother of Karen (Ed) Bellamy, Dan (Karen) Rocchio, Kathy (Tony) Forcelledo, John (Pat) Rocchio, David (Barbara) Rocchio, and Michael (Michelle) Rocchio; grandmother of 20 and great-grandmother of 29; dear sister of the late Gloria Hayes; best friend to Annell Temczuk; special friend to Sharon & Larry Whalers; beloved aunt, sister-in-law, and friend to many.

Jean was a long-time volunteer at the St. Anthony’s Medical Center, and former member of Melody Squares Dance Club. Jean donated her body to SLU Medical Center.

Services: Memorial Mass at St. Simon Apostle Church, 11019 Mueller Road, St. Louis, MO 63123 at 10 a.m. Saturday Aug. 26th. Immediately following the mass, a celebration of her life will take place in the Parish Hall. Memorial contributions may be made to the Children’s Fund at Cardinal Glennon Children’s Hospital, 1465 South Grand Blvd. St. Louis, MO 63104.
