Jeffrey S. Goodman

With heavy hearts, we share the passing of Jeffrey Scott Goodman, who departed our world on June 5, 2024. He was 58.

Jeff was born on January 14, 1966 in St. Louis, MO to Gary Goodman and the late Nancy Mareschal (nee Stealey). Preceded in death paternal grandparents, Virgil and Marian Goodman, and maternal grandparents, Warren and Betty Stealey. Jeff is survived by his wife Janice Goodman; his children, Sean Kurth, Jeffrey C. Goodman, Alana Goodman, Rachel Goodman, the late Virginia Goodman and his two unborn Grandchildren. He was a dear brother to Victoria Feucht, Doug Goodman, Michelle Atkinson and Josh Goodman. He was an uncle, nephew, cousin and friend to all.

From a young age, Jeff’s kindness knew no bounds. He was always ready to lend a helping hand whenever he could. His gentle heart was evident to all who knew him. Jeff attended Pattonville High School, Class of 1984 and went on to serve in the United States Army where he worked on power generator equipment. After his honorable discharge, he
returned home to St. Louis. Although Jeff was raised in St. Louis, he found his love for the country life. He was a proud resident of DeSoto, MO and member of AMVETS Post #48. Jeff
worked most of his life in the automotive industry and enjoyed the simple things in life such as hunting, fishing, golf, playing pool, and BBQs with family and friends. Living that country lifestyle, Jeff never lost his love for KSHE 95 and being a devoted sports fan. He was a true fan of the St. Louis Blues, Kansas City Chiefs and of course a proud member of Cardinal Nation.
He will be deeply missed by those who had the privilege of knowing him, but his spirit will forever remain in our hearts.

I did not know Jeff, but knew his parents. Having lost a son, myself, I understand the loss you are all feeling. My condolences to the family and close friends Jeff left behind. God Bless you all as you let the memories live on and may you be comforted by the peace that passes understanding. Sincerely, Linda Giancola Mega
