Jimmie Lee Moore

Mr. Jimmie Moore was born on October 8, 1957 in Doddsville, Mississippi. He was the son of George Whitehead and Lillie Washington. He was later adopted by Jimmie and Mary Francis Moore at seven months old

Jimmie was always a breath of fresh air when you saw him. He was loved by many who called Jim Dog, Jimmy Jam, Jim Dandy and Papa. He had a thing for fishing, cooking, barbequing, listening to music, fixing things and helping others. He was really a jack of all trades and the life of any party. His smile and conversation would cheer anyone up who was having a bad day

On May 24, 2002 he married the love of his life and best friend, Janice. They met 30 years ago at Sight and Sound and the rest was history

He quietly departed this life Monday, March 10, 2025 at Barnes Jewish Hospital. He was preceded in death by: his parents, Lillie Washington and George Whitehead; and adopted parents, Jimmie and Mary Francis Moore

Jimmie leaves to cherish many wonderful memories: his loving and devoted wife, Janice Adams Moore; five daughters, Tiedra and Moya Moore and Jimmica Lee Moore of Kansas City, Missouri, Nicole Rose (Edulfus) and Shina Adams; brothers, Willie (Donna) Moore of Pueblo, Colorado, Robert Moore of Madrid, Spain, David (Katya) Moore of Portland, Oregon; sisters, Maria Flores of Sacramento, California, Jacqueline (Darren) Sligar of Dallas, Texas, Susana (Jesus) Santiago of Los Angeles, California, Beverly Adams of Saint Louis, Missouri and Ella Clemens of Saint Louis, Missouri; 24 grandchildren, 13 greatgrandchildren; a host of devoted aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends
