Jimmy “J-BO” Sultzman
On June 14, 2017 we lost James Edward Sultzman. Our beloved “Bubba”, “Jimmy” or “J-BO” (as his friends would call him.)
Jimmy is survived by his parents, James L. Sultzman and Cheryl Page (Lee Page), his siblings Joey (Mellisa), Trinity, Teshma, Ashley, Tina, Sheria, Camila, Brian and Demetrius. His nephews Sammy, Terrique, Dakota, Tj, Kj, Taelor, Trey and Little Mike and great nephew Tristin James, in addition to his nieces Heather, Katie, Kaylei, Ayanna, Anye and Marlei and great niece Harper. Jimmy also leaves behind his love Tressia (Tee) and a host of aunts, cousins, friends and associates.
Jimmy was preceeded in death by his first love Lisa, sister Trisha, material grandparents Joe & Laverne Toman and paternal grandparents Edward & Juanita Sultzman.
To know Jimmy was to love Jimmy. He was our own personal MacGyver. He was able (or would find a way) to fix just about anything. From a pocket watch to a lawn mower to a car. As long as he had duct tape, pliers & a screwdriver, you were as good as new! Jimmy was also a collector of sorts. Gidgets & gadgets of all sorts is what he loved most. He loved taking things apart just to see if he could put them back together again. Sometimes it worked, sometimes it didn’t. If you were ever in a situation where any type of tool or any random part was needed, Jimmy would not hesitate to say “well, hold on…let me see if I have one in my car!”
Jimmy lived each day as if it were his last. Even when going through his own storms, he loved seeing the people he loved happy & smiling. It was nothing for Bubba to pop his teeth out, just to make everyone laugh uncontrollably! He often talked about getting his life right so that he could be the best Uncle imaginable to all of his nieces & nephews. In all of his ways (good & bad) more than anything, Uncle Bubba just wanted to be someone they would look up to and learn from.
Jimmy had recently graduated from Vatterott College, obtaining his certification in HVAC. He remained on the Dean’s List during his time there. He loved what he did and had even started making plans to open his own company in a few years.
Our sweet Bubba left an impact on every person he met. He was loved by so many. No matter what the situation was, if Jimmy could make a way to make it just a little better for you he would without hesitation. He loved people without judgment or condition. If he loved you, he loved you for life and you knew without a doubt that if you ever needed something and Jimmy was able, you would have it.
Sadly, Jimmy lost his battle to a long standing illness that many are afraid to speak on. His addiction. May we all find comfort knowing he is at peace now and no longer has to face another day battling those demons. “Jimmy”, “Bubba”, “J-BO” will be missed dearly. Life will truly never be the same without him in it and we will forever keep that space in our hearts for him. In time we will all find peace within our loss. Jimmy, more than anything wanted to see his family united and often said that if it took his death to do so, then so be it. May our love for Bubba be greater than any ill feelings amongst us.
And as Jimmy would always say:
When I die, pray that God let’s me in heaven before the devil finds out I’m dead!”
Sleep peacefully Bubba. You will forever be in our hearts…

Jimmy… it’s your old best friend Bobby. I was curious about you and tried to look you up on Facebook. I couldn’t find you and began feeling a sadness in my heart. Now I know why.
I wanted to reconnect with you. I wish I had a long time ago. I love you my friend. I will see you in heaven.GOD has you my friend. I miss you. Until then I will be thinking of you and may GOD comfort those you temporarily left behind.Love you buddy!
