Jo Ellen Cook

On the morning of March 16, 2021, Jo Ellen Cook, better known as “Jody” to her friends and family, 69, of St. Peters, MO moved to her Heavenly home. Jody was a godly woman who loved the Lord and her family and set an example for her children and grandchildren that will lead them all their lives.

Jody loved her Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ, with all her heart, and she loved God’s Word. Though she could be a sassy spitfire, Jody was nonetheless a powerful prayer warrior, and only Heaven knows what a wonderful and eternal impact all her many years of faithful praying and witnessing have had on her family, her friends, and the world at large.

Jody was born in Bridgeton, Missouri on March 26, 1951 to the late Joseph L. Cuneo and Betty L. Cuneo. She was married for 41 years to the love of her life, Danny E. Cook.

Upon entering Heaven’s gates, she was welcomed by her parents and six angel grandbabies. She is survived by her husband, Danny E. Cook, her daughters, Jennifer Beverley, Katherine (Rodney) Polston, and Tara (Eric) Creech; grandchildren Cyric and Evangel Davis, Taran Stout, Davin and Kylee Polston, and Ellie Jo Creech; one brother, Edward Cuneo and two sisters, Beth Cuneo and Jackie Conley.

The family is planning a Celebration of Life to be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to the American Lung Association.
