Steve and I are so sorry for your loss. She was a wonderful woman and a special friend. Jim, you and Joan made so many of our Christmas Eve’s special and fun. Joan was a great “elf” and you weren’t so bad yourself! We thank you for those memories. Take care.

When I look at this beautiful picture of Joan I smile and at the same time find it so hard to hold back the tears. Joan was a funny, fiste, tender, loving, caring person. She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. Her friends meant the world to her. Joan was more than a sister-in-law, she was a sister and best friend. From the moment we walk thru the door we never skipped a beat. It was like we never left. So, it is very hard to say goodbye to our sister and friend. We will miss you very much and love you.

Joan never seemed to have changed when I last saw her at an IWA reunion. Always a great sense of humor, bright outlook on life, yet a kind and gentle woman who is so surely a deep loss for loved ones as she is as a classmate. What a blessing to know that God now holds her in the hollow of his hands.
