John Edward Walsh

John Edward Walsh, (age 84) of St. Louis, Missouri, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on October 6, 2024.  Beloved husband of Joan Walsh (Rakonick) married 64 years, loving father of Debby Hoynacki (Paul), Kevin (Janet), Lisa, and David; loving grandfather of Michelle, Angela, Kate, Christopher; loving great grandfather to Jason, Jack, Phoebe, Simon; loving brother of Mary and Patricia (d); brother-in-law, uncle, cousin, and friend to many. All will forever remember his wisdom, humor, and kindness.  John will fondly be remembered for his many arts and crafts he created for the family throughout the years.  John donated his body to SLU Medical School (in honor of his granddaughter becoming a doctor).

John’s family plans a celebration of life on Sunday October 27, 2024. All are welcome to share food and drink with fond memories of the times we enjoyed with him.
