John “Jack” Griffin

John “Jack” Griffin, age 74, passed away on the morning of January 9th, 2018 in St.Louis, MO.

Jack is survived by his wife of 51 years; Sue (née Hixson); his daughters Michelle Griffin and Christine (Christopher) Larcom; granddaughters Isabelle Bassett and Cecilia Griffin.

He is preceded in death by his sister Kathryn Garrison and brother Charles Griffin.

Jack was born on October 14, 1943 in St. Louis Missouri to parents Cecil and Cecilia Griffin.

He married Sue Griffin in 1966 and the couple had two children together.

Jack will always be remembered as being kind, funny, welcoming and compassionate. Jack was a wonderful husband, father and PawPaw. Jack was an avid Blues Hockey fan, he enjoyed going to the casino and going for day trips with his wife Sue.

His family and friends will always remember that he made them feel “right at home” no matter what.

Jack did not wish to have funeral services therefore a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.

    Oh my. Just watched Jack’s video. What memories. I remember Jack as being quiet and always our buddy. He will be missed.
    To his family, so sorry for your loss. Know all of you will remain in my thoughts and prayers. Thank you for sharing your precious memories.
