John Paul Akers

John Paul Akers, April 17, 1941, to December 17, 2020, dwells in the house of the Lord. He was a father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother, and uncle. Paul has five children. John Paul Akers Jr, Pamala Wilson, Amy Johndro, Nancy Cornell, and Laura Akers. He was proceeded in death by his parents, Frank and Mary Akers from Pittsburgh, PA, one grandson, Buddy Johndro, and five siblings: Franks Akers Jr., Elsie Ranhart, Dolores Brown, Billy Akers, Dorothy Akers.

Living siblings include Jean [Jerry] Ferber, Nancy [Ray] Cavlovich, Elizabeth [Jim] Campero, and Diana [Frank] Manna, For the last part of his life, Paul was a property manager in St.Louis, MO, and Phoenix, AZ., prior to that he was a long-distance truck driver, security guard and owned a lawnmower shop. Paul is remembered for his warmth, love of nature (grew bonsai plants as a hobby) humor, deep thinking, curiosity, friend to all, and gentle spirit.

Interment at Greenwood Cemetery in Fox Chapel, PA.
