John Proctor
John Richard Proctor of Eureka MO passed away on July 6, 2016 at the age of 88. Beloved husband of Rosemary for 39 years.
Born in St. Louis, Mo on Oct.2, 1927, he was the son of the late Ethel Proctor. He was a long time member of the Central Baptist Church of Eureka, past president of the Eureka Chamber of Commerce, and a veteran of the U.S. army. He loved traveling, boating, and fishing, and was a lifetime fan of the St. Louis Cardinals.
He was father to Rick(deceased), Renee(Chuck-deceased), Matthew(Amy), Donna(Vince), Linda(Pat), Barbara(Lane), Karen(Tim), and Maureen(Chris). John was survived by his sister Mary(Roberts). He was preceded in death by his sisters Anna(Long), Melba(Mills), and Sue(Buffington). He was a grandfather to 19 children and a great grandfather to 9.
The funeral service will be held on July 9, 2016 at noon at the Central Baptist Church, 601 N. Central Ave., Eureka, Mo, with reception to immediately follow at the Eureka-Pacific Elks, 19 1st Street, Eureka, Mo 63025.
Memorial donations/in lieu of flowers may be made to Shriner’s Children’s Hospital.
