Jordan Elliot Taynor, 33, of Carlinville, Illinois died on April 1, 2016 due to a violent assault he sustained on March 19, 2016. He was born November 5, 1982 the son of David A Taynor of Las Vegas, NV and Molly A (Roy) Clayton of Carlinville, IL. He is survived by them, his grandmother, Clara O Taynor of Bethalto, IL; Uncles: Michael C Taynor of Bethalto, IL and Earl LeRoy Taynor of Godfrey, IL, Aunts: Cheryl S Wilschetz of Moro, IL, Linda G Singh of Naperville, IL and Erma J Eller of Carlinville, IL; as well as his beloved dog Scout, and a host of cousins and friends.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Charles L Taynor and his maternal grandparents, Arthur and Ida Roy.

He will be remembered for his incredible love for family, his astute wit, and his love and compassion for all children and animals. Jordan touched many lives on his journey to Jesus.
