Joseph (“Joey”) Ritter, passed away, Tuesday, October 8, 2019.

Beloved son of Robert and Janice Ritter; dear brother of Patrick (Molly Haleblian) Ritter, Daniel (Caroline Paillou) Ritter, and Thomas (Natasha) Ritter; cherished nephew, cousin, and friend.

Both the Ritter and Osterloh Families were important to Joey. He never missed a family birthday, holiday, or get together. From water gun fights at family reunions to wiffle ball at the family home, Joey loved spending time with his brothers, aunts, uncles, and cousins, especially his cousin Matt Wlodarczyk.

Joey loved being outside and being active. In elementary school, Joey hurriedly finished his homework to go play outside with the neighborhood kids. As he got older, Joey could be found running around with his friends or watching a Blues or Cardinals game with them.

Joey called his parents nearly every day for advice, to see what they were doing, and to see what his brothers were up to. He loved his parents dearly. And they loved him. And they were there for Joey every day. Until the very end.

Goodbye, Joey. Goodbye, Son. Goodbye, Brother. Goodbye, Nephew. Goodbye, Cousin. And to many, Goodbye, Friend. We love you.

Services: Memorial service at St. Paul Catholic Church, 15 Forest Knoll Dr., Fenton, Missouri 63026, Saturday, October 12, 2019, 10:00 am. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to NAMI or Missouri Baptist Medical Center.
