Joe was very good man who loved his family fiercely with his huge heart! I feel lucky to have known him, and my sister was very blessed to have him as her father-in-law. You will be missed my friend.

I WILL ALWAYS REMEMBER OUR GOOD TIMES IN BRANSON, AT THE SHOWS, AND EATING AT THE “GOOD LUCK CAFE”. CHRISTMAS WAS SO BEAUTIFUL, CELEBRATING THERE, WITH ALL THE LIGHTS, AND JOYFUL PREPARATION FOR CHRISTMAS. IT IS A VERY CHRISTIAN VENUE, THERE.
I AM SO GRATEFUL TO HAVE BEEN ABLE TO BE WITH YOU, CAROL, AND JOE, FOR THAT LAST TIME WITH YOU.
MAY YOU FIND STRENGTH AND COURAGE, AND FEEL THE ANGELS ALL AROUND YOU, TO GIVE YOU COMFORT AND PEACE.

There are so many Uncle Joe-isms that come to mind when I think of my all-time favorite uncle.
“So-and-So says you have chicken legs”
“So-and-So says you’re too fat to go in the boat”
He never failed to make people laugh with his gregarious personality and relentless teasing. He was a dedicated husband, father, grandfather, and friend. He helped so many to realize their dreams of becoming electricians and he was an active Union man, even throughout his retirement.
He loved Gus’ Pretzels, singing Amore to a crowd, and bragging about the accomplishments of his grandkids.
I could take up so much more space here!!
I will miss you Uncle Joe. So very much!
