Joseph Micheal Ingracia, 74, of Wentzville, MO, passed away peacefully on September 14, 2021 at Barnes Hospital after a brief illness.
Joe was born on September 4, 1947 in St. Louis, MO to Joseph Ingracia and Catherine Ingracia (nee Russo). He attended Berkeley Senior High School and graduated in 1966.
He was married to the love of his life, Marilyn Ingracia (nee Sutton) for 46 years and they have one son, Michael. Joe also has a stepson, Christopher Klein from that union. He has two children, Joe and Michelle from a previous marriage.
Joe spent 30 years in the telecommunications field and then joined Costco as a food demonstrator. This job fit him to a T as he loved talking and joking with the customers. He retired after 5 years to spend more time with his family and friends.
He is survived by his loving wife, Marilyn, sons, Joseph (Mickey), Michael (Jessica), daughter, Michelle (David) and stepson Christopher, as well as his grandchildren, Joe, Devin, Hailey, Faith, Elliot and one great grandson, Cody, his brother, Sam Ingracia (Nancy) and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Joe and Kate Ingracia, one child, Anthony Ingracia, one brother Peter Ingracia and his dear niece, Gina Ingracia McCauley.
Joe will be greatly missed by his family and friends and will always be remembered for his sense of humor and kindness to everyone he met.
A Mass will be held at St. Joseph Parish in Cottleville, MO. Date and time to be determined with internment immediately following the Mass.
A luncheon and reception will then be provided in the Parish Hall.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Jude’s Research Hospital in St. Louis, MO.
