I was so sorry to hear of Joe’s passing. I lived next door to the Tabacchi’s on Era Ave. in Walnut Park. We had many great times together and played cards often (poker) at my house. I will miss him and I’m praying for peace and comfort for Joe’s family and friends, I bought my first car, a silver 57 chevy from Joes dad Anthony. It was a blessing living next door to the Tabacchi’s and I cherish the memories!

Next door neighbors growing up. Joe was in my grade at Herzog Elementary but I spent more time with Antoinette… My first paid job was tutoring her (helping her with homework) for 25 cents an hour. It is good to know that Joe grew up to be such a kind and loving husband and father. God bless you all as you mourn this huge loss in your life!

I’m reaching out my heart and thoughts and prayers for you and your family. Joey’s dad was my Uncle Anthony. As kids, I used to spend the night at their house. My Mother Lillian was very close to her brother Tony.

I’m going to miss Joe’s playful ways. He used to always say talk to my secretary (Maureen) anytime I asked if he would like to participate in something. I would tell Joe I’m going to talk to your secretary. He would just start laughing. I would go to the secretary and say to her ” Joe’s secretary, are you guys able to participate in this event on this day”. I would go back to Joe and say your secretary said you guys are good to go. He would then chuckle and smile. He will be missed. My deepest condolences to your entire family. Michelle

My sincere sympathy is shared for the loss of Joey, my beloved cousin. I have so many fond memories of him. I spent much time with him during our growing up years. Many of us Tabacchi cousins would gather for Christmas and summer vacations spending weeks together. Uncle Anthony, Aunt Teresa, Joey and Antoinette were excellent hosts!

His memory is alive in my mind. Mostly I can remember his sparkling eyes, his teddy bear hugs. I will join you at his Celebration of Life in spirit and in my heart.
Condolences to all of you, Joey’s cherished family and friends.
