Joseph Paul Cusick was anointed in Christ on December 10th, 2015, reuniting with his father Patrick, mother Mary, and three brothers, John, Patrick, and Michael in Heaven. Loving husband to Frances, father to Megan(David Stewart), Michael(Kimberly), Colin, and Caitlin(Matthew Kaimann), grandfather to Nathan, brother to surviving siblings Marilyn, Timothy, Thomas(Sharon), Dorothy, uncle and friend to many.
Proud to serve as a Lance Corporal in the 1st Marine Division in the Vietnam War during which he was awarded: a National Defense Service Medal, a Vietnam Service Medal with 1 star, a Combat Action Ribbon and a Purple Heart with 2 bronze stars.
Service: Burial with honors at Jefferson Barracks on Tuesday, December 15, 2015 at 1:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Wounded Warrior Project at woundedwarriorproject.org would be appreciated.

    dear fran;so sorry for your loss.he was a wonderful man.i was blessed to have him for a friend.he was also the finest marine I ever served with.when he walked thru gods door heaven became a better place. jim

    I am sorry for your loss. I remember Uncle Joe as being one of the ‘cool’ uncles when I was young.

    Fran and Family, We are so sorry to learn of the passing of Joe. Our prayers are with all of you. We were so blessed to have you as neighbors as we were raising our children.
