Joyce J. Brand
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joyce Jewell (Keller) Brand of St. Louis, MO, who passed away on Friday, December 5, 2025, at the age of 86. Joyce was a loving wife of George R. Brand, Jr; beloved daughter of the late Arthur C. Keller and the late Clara Keller Walton (nee Mild); dear sister of the late Jean Keller Brown and the late Ruth F. Keller; dear mother of George R. Brand III, Janice K. Seidlitz and Julie A. Gross; dear grandmother of Hannah Morris, Jessica Seidlitz, Joshua Seidlitz and Jordan Gross; cousin and dear friend.
Joyce was a dedicated housewife and mother. She was an active member of St. Philip’s UCC. She loved dogs, playing cards and Mexican Train Dominoes.
As a last act of charitable kindness, Joyce donated her body to Washington University School of Medicine for research and education.
Services: A celebration of life will be held at St. Philips UCC, 10708 Lavinia Drive, St. Louis, MO 63123 on Sunday, Dec. 21st at 12 p.m. with a reception to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to: The Salvation Army or a charity of your choice.

It has been a joy to have Joyce as a friend over many years of dining ones a month with fellow Scouters. The family arranged a dinner at Joyce’s residency a little over a month ago, and it was so good to see her smiling face, knowing she enjoyed the company of the group.
Our prays will continue to ask for Gods comfort and healing during this difficult time.
Love to our dear Brand family with the loss of our friendship with Joyce. We have shared wonderful memories with St. Philip’s at the leg of the St. Louis Arch selling beer for God. Much love my Brand family.
