Joyce Louise Pusateri

Joyce Louise Pusateri —amiable, compassionate, sincere, witty, brave, humorous, trustworthyjust a few of the many words that describe the divine woman Joyce was. She was born April 30th, 1947 in California but grew up in St. Louis, Missouri. Daughter and only child to Clara Broyles and Herman Broyles. Joyce attended and graduated Rosary High School, then pursued her dream as a hairdresser and salon owner.

Joyce Louise, 71, passed away Tuesday morning, January 29th 2019. She endured a fall that devastatingly lead to a brain injury. Joyce buckled down and survived not only one but two emergency brain surgeries. She was able to recognize her family and mouth the words “I love you” over and over again during this time of awareness. Although her soul was a resilient warrior, her body could no longer fight through the battle.

?Joyce had a passionate love for animals and nature which would always add an extra thirty-minutes onto her travels as she would want to “take the back roads” in order to fully immerse herself into the beauty of the leaves and deer around her.

?No one who met Joyce Pusateri forgot her infectious passion for her dream job as Alpha Tau Omega’s house mom of nine years and Farmhouse previously for two years. This was a blessed opportunity in her life, which allowed her to make a difference in so many young men’s lives; from teaching proper etiquette to also being a mom away from home for whoever needed a shoulder.

?The following are some of Joyce’s life joys: Her family, Her friends, Her children, Her grandchildren, Her dogs, and St. Jude.

?Joyce Pusateri is survived by her three children Salvatore Pusateri (Felicia), Vincente Pusateri (Audrey), and Christina Kohl (Kipp); eighteen grandchildren- Kane, Kennedy, Karsen, Kilian, Kiefer, Kai, Anthony, Dominic, Christian, Luke, Gabin, Hayden, Julian, Isabella, Vincenzo, Nina, Sophia, and Dominic; and many, many friends.

?Family, friends, and others whose lives Joyce touched are invited to the funeral gathering and mass, which will be held Monday February 4th, 2019 at St. Alban Roe Catholic Church, Wildwood Mo, 63038. Mass is at 10:30 proceeded by a casual gathering after in Mikesh Hall to reminisce, grieve, and to support each other.

In lieu of flowers, please make a donation/gift to the Humane Society of Missouri in Joyce Pusateri’s name. hsmo.org ribute

Thank you for sharing so much about
Ms. Joyce. I did not have the pleasure of meeting her but would have loved to. As a citizen of the community I wish to share my condolences. May all the wonderful memories enable you as a family to comfort one another. When feeling overwhelmed draw on strength from our Heavenly Father. Psalms 55:22
