Joyce Marilyn Wolsky

Joyce Marilyn (Artzer) Wolsky, 76, of Boulder, Colorado died Monday, January 29, 2018 at McKnight Place, St Louis. She was born October 21, 1941 in Sterling, Colorado to the late Frank and Wilma Artzer. She was employed as an administrator at the University of Colorado Boulder for 32 years and worked in multiple areas including the French and Italian departments, registrar’s office, and was a member of the judicial review. She lit many candles along the way, making the university a brighter place to work. Her biggest enjoyments were spending time with family, reading, cooking, and participating in outdoor sports, particularly golf and hiking. She is survived by her loving son, William J. (Gena) Wolsky, Jr. of Creve Coeur, MO; brothers, Frank and Don Artzer of San Diego, CA: two sisters Connie (Dick) Williamson of Riverside CT, Leigh (Cal) Harris of Clinton NY; and, three grandchildren, Beau, Victoria, and Kristofer. She was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, William, and two brothers David and Peter. She will be dearly missed by her family and the hearts she touched. A memorial and interment will be held at a later date in Colorado. Friends may visit online at www.stlouiscremation.com to sign the guest book and extend condolences to the family.

To The Family of Joyce: I went all through school with Joyce in Merino, Colorado and enjoyed her so much. Frank and Don I wish sympathy to all of the family but espceially to you, as I grew up with you also. There is very little that anyone can say or do to ease the loss of one who meant so very much to you. May you find comfort in the sorrow that you bear, just knowing there are many hearts that undeerstand and care. Prayers are with all of her family.

Dear cousins, sorry for the loss of Joyce. It was great growing up near cousins . I loved going to your place by the river and the times you came to our dry land farm. It left a big empty spot when your family moved. Am praying for the repose of the soul of beautiful Joyce
    With sympathy, Joan Harley

    Dear Bill & Family,
We were so saddened to hear of my cousin Joyce’s passing. She and I were very close growing up and very close in age, she was almost a month younger. I loved your Mom and will keep her in my prayers as will my husband Doug. We didn’t know of your Dad’s passing until now so please know we will keep him in our prayers also. God Bless, Love Doug & Carole Zundel
