Judith A. Elliott
In Loving Memory
Judith A. Elliott
November 25, 1943 – March 25, 2024
Judith A. Elliott (nee Lucas) passed away on March 25, 2024 at home.
She was born in Kansas City, MO on Thanksgiving Day to her mother, Billie L. and
father, Clyde H. Lucas.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her step-father, Charley F. Henry, her sister,
Gloria Overfelt of Jefferson City, MO and her brother, William Lucas of Springfield, MO.
She leaves behind her husband of 57 years, Joseph H., her daughter, Debra L. Mandell
(Jay) of Rotonda West, FL, her brother, Danny C. Lucas (Jacquie) of O’Fallon, MO.
Lovingly remembered by all her nephews, nieces, great-nephews and great-nieces and
life-long friends too numerous to mention.
Judy had many great passions in life. She was always ready to travel, be it a day trip or
a two year long RV vacation across the USA. She loved to cook and tried to emulate
every great meal ever enjoyed at a restaurant. She loved to paint at her easel and
enjoyed giving her artwork away.
Judy worked many years in the banking industry, retiring in 2001 as a Branch Manager
for a local Bank.
The family would like to express appreciation to Mercy Hospice for their exceptional
care and support.
There will be no interment. A celebration of life will be held at a date, to be
determined.
Donations, in lieu of flowers, can be made to American Cancer Society in Judy’s name.
Judy was an outstanding friend, lots of fun & liked to talk. I will miss her !
I’m so glad we were able to visit with Judy and Joe when we were in St.Louis this past May. It was fun to reminisce about our days together in the Jaycees. We were one of their oldest friends and even though we hadn’t seen them in many years, we managed to stay in touch from time to time. We will miss Judy. Take care Joe; you also Deb. God Bless!
We are saddened to hear the news of Judy’s passing. She was so much fun! We enjoyed visiting them at the Lake and most recently having lunch with her and Joe in St. Charles. Condolences to the family and especially you, Joe. Deb, she talked a lot about you the last time we had lunch together. She loved you so much! Rick and Sally Rajnoha
