Judith Ann Rundell
Judith Ann Rundell, fondly known as Judy, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loved
ones on September 29, 2024. She was 84.
She was born on January 24, 1940, in Evansville, Indiana to the late Charles Edward and
Margaret Ann Wolf (Perkins). Judy was the oldest of four children and was the ‘big sister’ to one
brother and two sisters. As a young adult, Judy moved to Missouri where she lived first in
Jefferson City, and eventually settling in the St. Louis area.
While living in an apartment in St. Louis, she met the love of her life, the late Sam Rundell. They
spent 55 wonderful years together traveling, enjoying the theater and musicals, attending
sporting events and quiet evenings at home. Together they built a beautiful life enriched by the
love and laughter of their family and friends. Judy cherished the moments spent with her loved
ones and her generosity and kindness touched the lives of all who knew her.
In addition to being a wife, she was a mother who raised two children. Judy also worked as a
retail bookkeeper, and almost 20 years as an office manager for an Optometry practice. Judy’s
faith was an important part of her life, and over the years was involved at her church with
women’s retreats, adoration, and various social activities.
Judy is survived by daughter Kristin (Jeff) Jacobsen, son Blake (Sandy) Rundell, grandchildren
Jordan Rundell and Lindsay (Mike) Algren, Samantha, Jonathan and Casandra Jacobsen,
brother Steve (Patty) Wolf, sisters Sue (Tom) King and Pat Fuller. She was a beloved sister-in-
law, aunt, great aunt, cousin, and friends.
Her remembrance service will be on Friday, October 11, 2024, at Mary Mother of the Church,
5109 Kerth Road. Visitation will begin at 9:30, followed by mass at 11:00. Live streaming of the
service is available at https://www.marymother.org/live-stream-of-our-mass.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to Our Little Haven

Judy was a great friend of family! She was always available to discuss anything. She and my deceased wife, Gayle, were close friends from high school.
With her and Sam we had great fun when we traveled together!
She will be missed!
