Judith Hertenstein
Judith Anne Hertenstein (nee Crafton) December 26, 2023 at the age of 74. Soulmate of Rodney Hertenstein for 53 years. Beloved mother of Paul Hertenstein and Rev. Laura Mignerone. Cherished grandmother of Gabe Mignerone. Dear sister-in-law of Bryan and Louise Hertenstein, and special aunt, cousin, and friend of many.
Graduate of Drury University, teacher and systems analyst, stay at home mother (and later grandmother), skilled administrative assistant, talented seamstress and cook. She deeply loved God, her family, and her church.
Services: A Celebration of Life at Ivy Chapel UCC, 620 North Woods Mill Rd., Chesterfield, on Saturday, January 20 at 2:00pm.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the church.

I was shocked to see on Facebook that Judy has passed. She was my roommate at Drury and I wanted to talk with her today because her birthday, January 23, is the same date as my husband’s, and we’d laugh about that. We were able to visit a couple of times in Kansas City and St. Louis over the past few years and she was always the dear sweet soul I remember. My condolences to you, Laura–as both a newborn baby and as a young woman, you were a dream come true for her. And to Rod: words fail to express our sorrow for your aching loss. Just impossible.
