Judith (Jay) Maxine Jones, beloved mother of Tim (Karlise), Kevin (Amy) dear sister of Sandra Albrizzi, grandma, great (best) grandma, aunt, cousin, sister in-law, and friend to many, passed away on October 29, 2023, at the age of 81. She was born on January 28, 1942.

Jay was preceded in death by her oldest son, Bob, her mother, Dorothy Forester (Mueller), her father, Max Caldwell, and her stepfather, Melvin Forester.
Jay dedicated her life to education and was a middle school teacher at St. John the Baptist for 37 years. She had a genuine love for her students and made a positive impact on their lives. Additionally, she retired from Sports Service Corp. after 25 years of service.

Jay was an active member of St. Joseph’s parish in Imperial, MO. She also devoted her time to various organizations, including the St. Vincent de Paul Society, Red Hats, and Hand in Hand, where she volunteered her services. As her final teaching assignment, Jay donated her body to the SLU medical program.

A visitation will be held on December 9, 2023, at 9 am, followed by a mass at 10 am at St. Joseph’s Church, located at 6020 Old Antonia Rd, Imperial, MO 63052.

A Celebration of Life will take place on December 10, 2023, from 12 pm to 6 pm. Food and drinks will be provided at the IBEW Union Hall, situated at 5850 Elizabeth Ave, St. Louis, MO 63110.
