Judith Scott

Judith Scott passed away on January 30, 2017.

Judy was born June 14, 1942 in St. Louis, MO. She worked in banking most of her life, retiring from Nations Bank, now Bank of America, in January 1998 as Assistant Vice President of Remittance Processing.

Judy enjoyed retirement immensely. She spent her time traveling, reading, walking outside when our weather permitted, and playing with kitties. But what she enjoyed most was her family and close friends. They will remember her as a generous, thoughtful, and loving person. She was loved much and will be fondly remembered and greatly missed.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Bernard W. Johnson and Grace A. Johnson (nee Locke).

Surviving are her sisters, Darlene Bell (nee Johnson), Cynthia Swanson (nee Johnson), Joy (Robert) Moore (nee Johnson); brother, Alan (Carol) Johnson; nieces, Stacia (Robert) Cockerham (nee Bell), Denise (Gary) Carmichael (nee Bell), Amanda (Paul) Kent (nee Moore), Ashley (David) Aguilar (nee Moore); nephews, Aaron Swanson, Matthew Johnson, Mark (Amy) Johnson, a sprawling number of great-nieces and -nephews; and, dear friends.

Memorial service will be private.

In order to perpetuate Judy’s generosity, memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association at www.alz.org/stl or the Foster & Adoptive Care Coalition at www.foster-adopt.org.
