Judy Ann Manaois

Judy Ann Manaois, 69, of Imperial, MO, passed away peacefully on April 19, 2024 surrounded by her family after suffering a sudden stroke just a few days prior.

Judy was born on February 28, 1955 in St. Louis MO. After Judy graduated from Hazelwood High School in 1973, she went on to study dental assisting. A skill she would utilize not only in her career but also has a mother of three children who needed reminding to brush their teeth. She went on to work at Equitable and met three of her lifelong friends there before becoming a stay at home mom and then working as the local Party-lite lady to meet many more friends. She had a habit of making friends anywhere and keeping in touch through the years.

In 1982, Judy met Paul at a local recreation center, bonding as friends first on the volleyball court before realizing they would become each other’s greatest friend for life. Judy and Paul went on to build their family and had three children together and 40 years of loving marriage filled with Paul’s jokes and Judy’s laughter.

In 2012, Judy retired and spent her time divided between family and friends. Recently, her family
expanded as her daughters married and grandchildren were born. Judy enthusiastically celebrated each addition with her welcoming spirit. She loved caring for her grandchildren and saw them multiple times a week, their joy was her joy. Much of her time was spent alongside her husband Paul living life together watching tv shows, going to the movies, gardening, caring for their pet, and visiting their favorite restaurants. Her favorite evenings were with family at her new dinner table playing games. Conversations with Judy can best be described as a warm hug. She had endless stories from her life that she lovingly shared and encouraged others with. She laughed often and loud, filling the hearts of those around her.
Judy loved deeply, loyally, with great strength and endurance through many trials, and always smiled. She was full of faith in Jesus and was a devoted wife, mother, nana, and friend.

Judy is preceded in death by her mother, Dominica Ventimiglia, her best friend Nancy Lee, and her cousin Margaret Ventimiglia.

She is already greatly missed by her beloved husband, Paul F. Manaois; son, Carlo Manaois; daughters,Danielle Weber and Katie Redlich; after-market sons (as described by Paul), Jared Weber and David Redlich; grandchildren, Arianna and Emma Weber; sister, Kathy Pagano; family pet, Moxie; grand-pups, Anabelle and Arnold; plus numerous nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
