Judy Ann Power

Judy (Ann) Power, 71, passed away peacefully in her home surrounded by her family on March 14, 2020. She was born to Carrie Tammaro and Carol Mosher on August 23, 1948 in Goshen, New York.

Ann loved the outdoors and was an avid fisherman who took great pleasure in each of her grandchildren’s first catch. She loved animals, especially cats, and often “snuck” the family cat into her room at night so they could snuggle. She had a great talent and love for crochet and created many heirloom-quality blankets, doilies and tablecloths. She loved to cook and enjoyed good quality herbs and spices.

Ann was proud to serve our country, serving in the United States Navy as a Store Keeper Third Class (SK3). In her civilian life, she worked as a machinist in a tool crib and retired from Mark Andy. Ann’s most proud and important work in this life was as the mother of two wonderful boys that she raised to be successful and caring gentlemen who are loving husbands and fathers and who love the Lord.

Ann was preceded in death by her parents, Carrie and Carol and siblings Janice Weber and Richard Mosher. She is survived by her brother Paul (Karen) Mosher and sister Carole Brown, two loving sons, Hal (Rosa) Power and Sean (Marianne) Power, grandchildren, Jacklyn Power, Amanda Power, Krista Power and Aidan Power and great granddaughter Mia Valdivia.

Services will be 10:00 AM on Monday, March 23, 2020 at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery with a repast and visitation following at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints 1175 Piedras Parkway, Fenton, MO. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to SSM Health Hospice and Home Health Foundation. https://www.ssmhealth.com/donate/hospice-home-health-foundation/donate-to-hospice-home-health-foundation
