Julia Ann Bryant
Julia Ann Bryant (Hobson), age 74, of Maryland Heights, MO died September 7, 2024. She was born Julia Ann Hobson of Farmersville, IL on May 15, 1950 to Allen LeRoy Hobson (1923-2000) and Regina Rose Hobson (Clardy) (1929-2006). She was the oldest of 4 children.
Family was the most important thing in Julia’s life, but her 6 children were her pride and joy. She was so very proud of all of the accomplishments they made. She loved to cook for her family and friends as that was one of the biggest ways she showed her love. She made sure that everyone knew that her door and her kitchen were always open to friends and family in need. She always said ‘you never know who might show up to supper” so she always made sure there was plenty of food in the event that someone showed up. She never did figure out how to cook for anything other than an army and she passed that on to her children. She was also a devout Catholic and she gave many service hours to the churches she belonged to. She touched so many with her love and care, far too many to count. She is very loved and will be deeply missed.
Julia was preceded in death by her grand parents, her parents, her only sister Marcia Marie Frank (Hobson), her very best friend Mary Alice Leonard, and many loving aunts and uncles. She is survived by her husband Jerry Kruvand of 3 years, her former husband Barry Bryant of 37 years with whom they shared 6 children, her two brothers Dennis Hobson (Lisa) and David Hobson (Cheryl), six children Melanie L Bryant, Dana E Bryant (Daniel), Marcia M Brown (Brian), Anne Delano (Beale), Scott Bryant (Darlene), and William “Bill” Bryant (Sherie). Six grandchildren Kayla A Jochimsen (Aaron), Brianna D Jones, Jonathan Brown, Margaret Brown, Lawrence Delano, and Marion Bryant, and many nieces and nephews.
