Julie Neisz

Julie Neisz, Blessed with the Sacraments of Holy Mother Church, passed away on May 4, 2014 at the age of 70.

Julie was born in St. Louis on September 17, 1944 to the late Edward and Lorraine Riti. She was an only child.

She is survived by her loving daughter Tracy Neisz and son Tony Neisz. Julie was preceded in death by her son Jimmy Niesz. She was a beloved grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt, sister-in-law, cousin, coach and dear friend of many.

Julie worked for over 25 years at the Stadium Club. She had a long career in the boxing industry in St. Louis which earned her a place in the St. Louis Boxing Hall of Fame. She was the president of the Ozark Boxing LBC for many years and at the time of her passing she was the vice president of Kick International, a non-profit organization for getting youth involved in kickboxing and martial arts, a job that gave her many opportunities to travel globally. Julie will be remember as a good and giving person with a kind heart and a unique sense of humor. She loved children and dedicated her life to helping others, especially her “adopted” family at the ring.

    I have so many memories of the good times that Julie, and I had together. I cannot begin to list them all

    But one in particular, we were at the Edge, the Wed, before
    Thanksgiving, had a frozen turkey in the front seat, Told the car hop, not to let our date get away.

    Miss Julie Neisz you will forever be loved as well as missed. Thank you for being such a great friend to me, my family, but especially my mom, poor lady is going to be lost without her bestfriend. Even though it had to be under these circumstances that you be freed of your pain, I hope you feel every bit of the beautiful angel that you’ve become throughout your life amungst the clouds.     Julie lived life to the fullest! Some of my best memories were spending time with “the girls” at Sweeney’s lake house. RIP Sister Mary Margaret.

    I went to Sacred Heart School in St. Louis, MO with a Julie Riti. I have fun memories of her in grade school. If this is her obituary, you have my sincere condolences on your loss. She had a very successful life with career, family and friends.
