Karen L. True went home to Jesus on September 4, 2015 peacefully at her home with her loving husband J.W. True at her side. They had been married for 38 years, and J.W often called her his “Kitten”.

Karen was born in Mishawaka, Indiana to the late Henry “Hank” and Edna Barrett. She leaves behind her siblings; Curt, Chris, Carol (Hartleroad) and the twins Connie (Williams) and Craig. She was a beloved niece, aunt and friend as well as a proud parent and companion to the 4 service dogs that she bonded with over the years.

Throughout the many illnesses and trials that Karen suffered, she always made sure to “give back”, whether that be through the charities that she supported or just by giving her time to those in need (which she did often). Her kind heart will be missed.

Services: A visitation (viewing) will be held for her at her church-Halls Ferry Christian Church, 12100 Old Halls Ferry Road, Florissant MO 63033 on Friday, September 11, 2015 beginning at 5:oo p.m. with a service following at 7:00 p.m.
