So sad to hear of the passing of my dear childhood friend, Kathleen Flynn Heitz. We went through grade school together and remained friends in high school and beyond. She was a dear, loving person who had the most beautiful head of hair! Great memories! ❤️

So very sad to hear. Kathy was such a big part of our family growing up. Annie was right about the most beautiful head of hair. I remember it took her two days to dry. So we had to plan our “Troupe” dance outings accordingly. I remember her “borrowing” her sister’s brand new slacks that she got from her boyfriend for Christmas and then falling down a hill near steinberg’s skating rink and ripping the knees out of them. She placed the slacks back in her sister’s drawer and when her sister confronted her, she said they must have been purchased that way.

In high school, She sent me a book, I love you because, with all the fun memories we had going to band concerts and dances. One reason She loved me because was I let her squeeze my knee during a Paul Revere concert. Such fun, fond memories.

    Bob, please keep in touch.!

In addition to falling down the hill and tearing the knees of her sister’s slacks, my sister, Kathleen, reminded me that she slid onto clayton avenue and a car ran over her hair. So many memories popping up today about all the fun times we had together. An end of an era!

Kathy was a dear sweet person, who pet sit for us for many many years. I loved reading the long letters she wrote about her visits w
Our dogs while we we’re on vacation.
When I didn’t get a Christmas card from her – I was hoping that everything was ok from her because she never missed sending me a card!

I will always remember as a kid going to the movies and lunch with my mom and how she sewed a lot of my clothes and made special birthday cakes each year. I remember her dancing and singing to rock music and telling of the many concerts she went to. As I got older, we spent a lot of time going to estate and garage sales looking for antiques and collectibles. She will be greatly missed but I am glad she is no longer suffering and in pain. Rest in Peace
