Kathleen Louise Carlson passed away on May 26 at home in company of her loving family. Beloved wife of Keith M. Carlson, loving mother of Aaron (Arijana) Hoormann, and grandmother of Mia and Khan Hoorman. Dear sister of Susan (Jim) Stege, Jill (Michael) Josias, Dennis Sharp, David (Lynn) Sharp, Christopher (Lynda) Boehme, Tiffany (Randy) Smith and step-sister of Michelle Sharp. Daughter of Patricia Sharp and the late Edward Boehme. Niece of Bess Dutson, Janet Wintermantel and the late Mary Lou Eno. Stepmother of Kelley (Steve) Baruzzini, Jennifer (David) Rickard, Laura (Kevin) Guenther. Step-grandmother of nine and great grandmother of two.

Kathy had a wide variety of interests over the years—ballet, photography, art, stained glass, violin, classical music, but most recently her focus was on bonding with her dogs, Trixie and Max, biking and rowing with her friends, and quilting, winning a number of awards with her quilts. She had a passion for family, friends and participating in activities for charity.

Service: Memorial service Wednesday, June 10, 11 AM at Ladue Chapel, 9450 Clayton Rd., St. Louis MO 63124 with a celebration of her life after the service at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Ladue Chapel or St. Luke’s Hospice Services.
