| Kathleen “Kathy” Kay Stephens, also known by her maiden name Kathleen Christopher, passed away on October 22, 2023, in St. Louis County, Missouri. She was born on January 16, 1950, in St. Louis, Missouri. Kathy had a deep love for animals and was a devout believer in God. Her husband, Wilford Stephens, held a special place in her heart, and she cherished their time together. Kathy also had a great passion for Rock and Roll, particularly the Beetles and the talented Ray Charles. Kathy is survived by her sister Vivian Carole Rulo, sister-in-law Patricia Christopher, and a loving extended family. Her nieces Dana, Beth, and Lisa Rulo, Alex Heines, Hannah Buchheit, and Arwyn Eglin, as well as nephews Joe Rulo, David, Tom, and Darrell Christopher, Nick Buchheit, and Gabe Coleman, will forever remember her fondly. Kathy was preceded in death by her beloved husband Wilford Stephens, her parents Carson and Dorothy Christopher, and her brother Norman Christopher. A graveside service will be held to honor Kathleen’s life on November 17, 2023, at 2:00pm at Mount Lebanon Cemetery, located at 11101 St. Charles Rock Road, St. Ann, MO. In memory of Kathleen, the family kindly requests that charitable donations be made to the ASPCA. Contributions can be sent to the organization to support their important work. Kathleen “Kathy” Kay Stephens will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all those whose lives she touched. She will be remembered for her kindness, love for animals, and devotion to her faith. May her soul rest in eternal peace. |
