Kathryn Joyce Meier (nee Maniaci), age 78, went to be with the Lord on November 26, 2021. She was born on December 30, 1942 in Saint Louis, Missouri and was a current resident of Saint Charles, Missouri. She was baptized at Saint Bridget of Erin, attended grade school at Nativity of Our Lord, was confirmed at Saint Liborius and graduated from Laboure High School.

Kathi had a passion for knowledge and had a strong will and determination for whatever she set her mind towards.

Her Italian heritage was important to her, and she often told stories about growing up in her large Italian family. Her Christian faith was paramount in her life, and she had a deep understanding of the teachings.

In the late 1950’s she met Dave, her neighbor that lived just across the street. After a long courtship they married in 1963 and were married for 58 years.

She loved listening to music from the 1950’s and 1960’s and often spoke fondly of those days she spent hanging around the Halls Ferry Circle with her friends at Steak ‘n Shake and the North Drive-In.

She enjoyed bible study, camping, shopping, jewelry, Victorian style homes and fashion, and all things sweet. She also loved being a grandmother and spending quality time with her grandchildren.

A celebration of life ceremony with luncheon will be held at Beautiful Savior Lutheran Church in Bridgeton, Missouri on January 15, 2022 at 11 a.m. to join together those who were touched by her life.
