Keith Stough

Keith R. Stough

April 14, 1963-November 27, 2022

On Sunday, November 27, 2022, Keith R. Stough passed away at the age of 59 after an arduous battle with pancreatic cancer. He was surrounded by his loving family.

Keith was preceded in death by his father, Kenneth R. Stough. He is survived by his mother, Iris Jane Stough (Danner), his loving wife of 34 years, Joanne Stough (Moeller), his daughter Stephanie Graber, his son-in-law, Jon Graber, his son,  Nick Stough and partner Tabby Gaines, and the light of his life – his grandson, Miles Graber. He is also survived by his brother, Kevin (Kelly) Stough, and his sister, Sherry (Bob) Stewart, and ten nieces and nephews.

Besides being a loving son, husband, father, PaPa, brother, uncle, and friend,  Keith was a father figure to many besides his own. There is nothing he valued more than precious family time.

Keith was a proud member of Sheet Metal Local 36 for over 40 years. He took great pride in his work, and was a true craftsman in his trade. He was the shop foreman at Albert Arno Heating and Cooling for just shy of 40 years, and worked for Rock Hill Mechanical for his last year in the trade. Keith paired his talent as a tinner with his creativity to create beautiful metal artwork.

Keith was mechanically inclined, and there is nothing he couldn’t fix. He was a true handyman who made his house a home for his family, and he was known to generously help others with his skills. When traditional methods did not work, Keith could be counted on to find a sheet metal solution.

Keith had a witty sense of humor that was guaranteed to entertain. Everyone could always count on him to make them laugh with his antics. He used wigs, teeth, and other props to amuse others, and he was known to make prank phone calls and gag gifts.

Keith was a friend to everyone with his heart of gold. No matter where he went, Keith loved striking up conversations with strangers, even on remote hiking trails. He never came across a person down on their luck without helping them.

Keith truly had a zest for life. He never missed an opportunity to exclaim “What a beautiful day!” He had a passion for the great outdoors – float trips, mountain vacations, and exploring our treasured national parks. He loved pool days, BBQs, and scenic drives with good music turned up and windows down.

Keith had a kind, tender, and loving heart that touched many lives for the better. He will be greatly missed and never forgotten.

Keith’s family welcomes friends and family to join them in celebrating his life by sharing experiences, memories, and tributes to Josto99@sbcglobal.net Please send photos and stories as to how Keith has impacted your life. Our intent is to assemble these contributions for a Celebration of Life ceremony. Details will be forthcoming.

The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Pancreatic Cancer Network at pancan.org.
