Kenneth James Garrett

Kenneth James Garrett or “TNT KENY G” born July 17, 1967 passed away on December 9, 2018 after a long hard fought battle against cancer. He is survived by his Wife of 22 years Luanne (Witzofsky) Garrett and his five children: Savannah Garrett (Adam), Santana Garrett ( Jeremy ) , Samuel Garrett, Dustin Garrett, and Keny Howard Garrett and his granddaughter Sadie Sunshine Garrett and father Edward L. Garrett. He was preceded in death by his mother Janelle Peacock.

Keny lived a full and wonderful life…He joyfully raised his children being a stay at home dad, imparting his wisdom of the joys of french toast with peanut butter for our weekly big Sunday breakfast to how to make a picture better with the “prison pose”. There was always a meal for anyone who came to the door and immediately they became a part of the family.

He was able to live out his dream of professional wrestling both in the ring and as a promoter, meeting his childhood hero’s and making life long friends. TNT Keny G will be remembered for his ability to engage fans in any match he wrestled. As a promoter, he was known as one of the good guys…no tricks with the workers, and good show for the fans. He was a member of the Cauliflower Alley Club and looked forward each year to seeing his fellow wrestlers and promoters.

Keny was a lifelong football fan and the Kansas City Chiefs were his favorite team…even though they don’t know how to manage the clock in any playoff game.

He was proud of all his children and their achievements. He was proud of his influence on all the lives he touched.

“Get It where you fit in”

“Be Relevant”

“Cup of Gas”

“Good Stiff S*%#”

And the hundreds of other sayings he taught us all.

He will be missed.
