Kenneth Ray Wilburn Jr.

Kenneth Ray WIlburn Jr, of St. Charles, Missouri lost his battle with cancer on Wednesday, October 18, 2023 at the age of 44.  Loving husband of 9 ½ years to Lauren Wilburn (nee: Kelley); devoted father of Joseph and Catherine; dear son of Kenneth Sr (Julie) Wilburn and Sue (James) Hamilton: dear son in law of Timothy and Patti Kelley; dear brother in law to Dale(Jeri) Kelley; and uncle to Harrison Kelley.

Kenneth was loved and cherished by many extended family and friends.

Kenneth was a proud member of IBEW Local #1 for 8+ years and was an employee of Diversified Electrical Services. He was also a long time member of MOFBA Car Club where he developed many long lasting friendships.

Kenny loved spending time with his wife and kids including long days at the zoo, attending car shows together and their many trips to Disney. Kenny’s love for cars was shared with Catie who loved working on and showing his 1996 Trans Am with her Dad.  Kenny and Joey shared a love for Legos and Hot Wheels and spent many hours together building castles and playing with Hot Wheels.

As per Kenny’s request, a celebration of life will be held in the spring at a local park. Friends and family will be asked to bring their classic cars and share stories.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Kares 4 Kenny at Lindell Bank 3201 Mo-94 St. Charles Mo 63301 towards the kids’ college or donations may be made to Siteman Cancer Center for Esophageal Cancer Research.

    I am heart broken to hear this sad news I new Kenny as a young shy boy. Cancer sucks. Sending his entire family, Kenny Senior Suzie, his mom, my deepest condolences, and a huge hug. I am praying for the entire family, including his wife and children for peace of mind. God bless all of you.
