Kevin Bernard Eads

Kevin was born in St. Louis on August 21, 1962 to Clifton Dayne Eads and Adele Ann Meyer Eads. Kevin passed away on June 11, 2018 after a very short battle with cancer. He was the deeply devoted husband of Jean Pino Eads, dear brother to Dan (Lesley) Eads and Bruce (Heather) Eads. Kevin is preceded in death by beloved sister Terry (Eads) Weston. Loving uncle to Rob’n (Ron) Stanley, Ramy (Nikki) Weston, TJ Weston, Caitlin Eads, Justin Eads, Kristen Eads and Henry Eads. Cherished great uncle to Emma Weston, Ellie Weston, Chrissy Mae Stanley and Tate Weston. Wonderful nephew and cousin to many, friend to all and a loyal colleague and teacher.

Gone too soon, but never forgotten.

Visitation will be on Saturday June 16, 2018 from 9:00 – 10:0am with a memorial mass to follow at 10:00am at St. Matthias the Apostle Catholic Church, 800 Buckley Road, St. Louis MO. 63125. Reception to follow at Church.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Harris House (harrishousestl.org)

Kevin earned his BA in education from Northern Arizona University in Flagstaff, Arizona and his MA from UMSL. He taught at Roosevelt High School in the St. Louis Public School District surrounded by amazing and supportive colleagues.

In 2007 Kevin found the joy of his life in Jean Pino. They were planning to celebrate their tenth wedding anniversary with a renewal of their wedding vows in the Philippines this summer.

Kevin and Jean enjoyed spending time together, sometimes romantic and quiet, other times wild and adventurous. Together they enjoyed fishing and camping with their dog Chase as well as gardening, attending Church, traveling, going to concerts, riding roller coasters at six flags, finding cakes around St. Louis and laying on the beach. Kevin and Jean were made for each other. Kevin will be greatly missed.
