Kevin Scott McCarthy

Kevin Scott McCarthy, 62, of St. Louis, Missouri passed away peacefully in his home on May 31st, 2025. Kevin was the son of Joan Marie McCarthy (Watts) & Michael Joseph McCarthy, Jr.
Kevin will be lovingly remembered by his son, Matthew Michael McCarthy; his grandchildren, James & Anna; and his siblings Christina (Geoffrey) Powers, Laura (Robert) Dick, Dana (Charles (dec)) Jones, Kenneth (Dawn Marie) McCarthy, and Marianne (Rick) LaMartina.
Kevin was predeceased by two brothers, Mickey McCarthy III & Kenneth McCarthy; brother-in-law Charles Jones and his parents Michael & Joan McCarthy.
Kevin was a beloved brother, son, grandson & friend whose impact will never be forgotten.
Kevin was and will forever be a light in our hearts. When my family moved across the street from him 10 years ago he was the first one to introduce himself, offer any assistance whenever bad weather occurred knocking our power out, and would call us if he noticed an unfamiliar car sitting a bit too long in front of our house. He truly will be missed and it was a pleasure to be a small part of his life.
