McDonald, Kirk Edward

Age 44; Fortified with the Sacraments of Holy Mother Church Friday, July 6, 2012. Loving son of John and Renea McDonald; Big brother to Shaun Charles, John Thomas, Jr. and Mary Catherine. Kirk was brother-in-law to Elizabeth and Susanne McDonald. He was a proud uncle to Morgan Renea, Lily Ann, Brayden John, Alison June and Molly Theresa McDonald. He was the grandson of the late Floyd and Alma Hale and Emmett and Mildred McDonald. Kirk’s life began with such enormous potential, but was derailed by bi-polar disease and addiction which he struggled with for years. He will be remembered by all, as a smart, funny and loving person. Kirk was an excellent student, excelled in sports, loved the St. Louis Blues and music, especially playing the piano. Please keep Kirk and his family in your prayers. His body was cremated and laid to rest with his paternal grandparents.

Friends may pay their respects to the family on Friday, July 13 from 4pm – 8pm at their home, 1332 Amherst Terrace Way, Chesterfield, MO 63017. Memorials in Kirk’s name may be made to Visitation Academy or The Salvation Army.
