Jan and myself will always miss my brother who we affectionately called “shadow one”. Although separated by distance, we managed to keep in touch via phone – he never could text. His passion – Lake of the Ozarks and crappie fishing. When trolling, he always had a hard time cutting the engine when you had a bass on the line – many, many good memories. We lost him too soon and too quickly.
Mr. Lammering was such a kind man. I always enjoyed visiting with him. I will miss seeing him here at the lake.
I have many fond memories of Larry that I will always treasure….our discussions at the mailbox, comparing bowling scores, dinners out, lake visits and cruises.
He was a good friend and neighbor for 44 years. He is gone too soon and will be greatly missed.

Sorry for Larry’s passing
Will always be remembered for his friendship of many years, the laughs and great time we had , fishing at the lake to the cruises we had took with him and Marilyn or just going out to dinner

Bruce and I can’t believe you are gone, Larry. We will remember the many talks at our mailbox as you stopped by in your van, your kindness to us when we lost our son, the many facts you told us about the war, how you were always available to help us with a project and so many more memories. You were taken too soon and will be dearly missed. Until we meet again, friend.
We were so sorry to learn of Larry’s passing. We seem to have always been at the receiving end of his kindness. We will never forget how he always thought of everyone else first. When we grieve this kind of loss, the family and friends can be like a large oak tree amid the barren landscape of sorrow. Branches of a tree offer shelter from the storm, and we want to be a place of refuge in your time of need. You have our deepest sympathy and are in our thoughts and prayers. Please call us at any time of the day or night, and we will be there for you.
Our hearts ache with yours, at the loss of your Husband, Father and Grandpa. Praying for comfort and peace that God Promises to those who mourn. All our Love and Sympathy- Tim and Anna Higgins
So sorry to hear about Larrys death, we played softball together for many years at St. John’s Church.
