Larry McNeill age 82 of St. Louis Mo. Passed away on August 10, 2026, at his home with loved ones by his side.
Born April 5, 1944, in St Louis to Lois and James “Marlin” McNeill.
Larry was a dedicated employee up to and beyond his retirement
From the St. Louis Zoo, where he was a Fabricator. He could tell a story after a story about his workday, a lot of them animal related.
He always enjoys spending time with his family and friends. He enjoyed his travels with Irene. Larry was always ready to go on a vacation. He took pride in his flowers and his yard. Enjoyed the St. Louis Cardinals. Watching football, grocery shopping and helping friends out.
Larry leaves behind his wife Irene (née Courisky) of 30 years. Three children, Randy, Kelly(Bill) and Rick (Misty). Grandchildren Melissa Reinhold, Jake (Kelly) Summers, and Jesse Summers. Great grandchildren Mackenzie Reinhold and Caden Walker Summers.Stepchildren and families Jeanie Douglas, Chris (Al) Dreste, Shelly (Otto) Douglas, Jack (Maria) McGuire and Pam (Mark) Carrillon. Grandchildren Lisa (Keith) Henss, Ron Tounsand, Joe (Lindsey), Jenny ( Tony), Jeff (Megan), Lauren (Troy) Coureton, Aaron (Helen) Douglas, Jim and Emily McGuire, Brandon (Hannah), Tyler, Chase, Cole (Clarece) Lance Hilmes and Jayden Carrillon. Great-grandchildren Dylan, Rachel, Austin, Jake, Stella, Eleanor, Alice, Sam, Katie Charlotte, Ava, Aria, Zoie awaiting arrival of baby boy Coureton, Levi and Bryce Hilmes. Dear Uncle, Cousin and many close and dear friends.
Although our hearts are broken by the loss, we take comfort in knowing that he is at peace. His memory will live inside our hearts with so so many fond memories, by the love he shared and the countless lives he had touched throughout his life.

Larry will be laid to rest at Mount Hermann Methodist Church and Cemetery in Salem (Dent County) Missouri with his Mother, Father, and brother Bill McNeill.
