Larry Stephen Biras

Larry Stephen Biras was born on February 27, 1941, to Steve and Anita Martinez Biras in E. St. Louis, Illinois. Larry attended Cleveland High School, and Southeast Missouri State University. He worked many years in the insurance business and was a part owner in Insurance Source Inc. Larry passed away on October 25th, 2016.
Larry is survived by his wife, Diana Slade Biras, three children by a previous marriage, Stephen (Donna), Kim, and Keith Biras and three stepchildren, Shelly (Paul) Kozozemski, Michael Slade (Cathy), and Dawn (Tony) Jerger .

Also surviving are 10 grandchildren; Emily Biras, Eric Biras, Casey Kozozemski, Jamie Kozozemski, Justin Slade, Drew Slade, Jacob Slade, Caroline Slade, Megan Jerger and Kelly Jerger; two nieces, Denise Martignon (Lee) Bacott and Donna Martignon (Robert) Owens; one uncle, Buzz Allen; several cousins, brother-in-laws, sister-in-laws, nieces, nephews and many wonderful friends.

Larry was preceded in death by his parents, his stepfather Leroy Carey, and his sister, Carol Biras( Daniel) Martignon .
Larry was an avid golfer, with 5 hole-in-ones! He loved to fish, travel, and spend time with his family and friends. You could always count on Larry to be there for you with a great sense of humor and a generous heart.

A memorial service will be held at St. Catherine Laboure Catholic Church in Sunset Hills located at 9740 Sappington Road, St. Louis, Missouri on Wednesday November 23, at 10AM and a celebration of Larry’s life at Tapawingo National Golf Club located at 13001 Gary Player Drive, Sunset Hills Missouri immediately following the mass.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Lights of Love at SSM St. Clare Health Center Auxiliary, 1015 Bowles Avenue, Fenton, MO 63026.
