Marilyn,
So sorry to hear of Larry’s passing. Larry was the most generous man I have ever known. He was a wonderful friend, mentor and made me a better man. I am comforted by the thousands of wonderful memories we created as we golfed our way across America. He loved you and your daughters so much, and I can only imagine how much he loved those grandchildren. Ann, Mary, and I will be praying for you this holiday season.

Marilyn,
So sorry to hear of Larry’s passing. I worked for Larry back in 1992 – 1995. One of the best managers I ever had. To this day Larry holds the record for the manager who has given me the largest raise in my Dow career. I remember going down to the Buick Open with Larry. We were at work, and he came into my office and said “Lets Go”. He liked Jack Nicklaus and was bummed he did not have his autograph (but Bill Worsley did). So I made it my mission to get Larry an autograph of Jack while we were down there. I followed Jack around until I got that autograph and handed it to Larry. Great guy. My sincere condolences.

Marilyn, sorry to read about Larry’s passing, my deepest condolences. I worked Larry as a peer in accounting for much of his career. The first thoughts to hit me about Larry was his job during the 74 strike. He drove the truck with the magnetic bar dragging behind to rid the roadway in/out of the plant of nails and screws for shift change each day. Greatly appreciated by the folks driving through the line each day. Had a great sense of humor and a lot of stories, which added a little laughter for a very trying time for all of us.

I was so shocked and sad to read this. I loved working with Larry at Dow, he was a gentleman and great boss, and became a dear friend. May wonderful memories help you through this difficult time.
Thinking of all of you as you navigate the time ahead without Uncle Larry. I can’t help but to look at him and think of my dad. I know dad and grandma were there to greet him. I know they are all at peace and no longer in pain, but it doesn’t make it any easier to be here without them. Sending love,
Michele
