Laura Anne McDermott was born August 9, 1985 and died, too soon at the age of 40, on October 30, 2025.

Laura graduated from Crossroads College Prep High School and received her Bachelor of Science Degree from Webster University in St.Louis.

Laura was a gifted artist and photographer, and designed custom  jewelry which she sold through her company, Orion’s Dragon Gems.

She was a beloved daughter and is survived by her mother Helen S. McDermott of  St. Louis, MO . Her father Micheal A. McDermott and stepmother Alicia G. Wesseler of Surprise, AZ.  She is survived and was loved by many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

Her smile and sense of humor will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

In lieu of flowers Laura asked that donations be made to the American Heart Association.
