Lavina Kueker

Lavina Marie Kueker of Imperial, Missouri, passed away peacefully on February 24, 2026, at the age of 73. Born in Saint Louis on April 23, 1952, to the late James and Lenore Macomber, who undoubtedly welcomed her with open arms in the hereafter.

Lavina was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Glenn Kueker, whose memory she cherished deeply.

She is survived by her devoted children, daughter Jamey Moroney and son Kristopher Kueker, who were the center of her world. Lavina’s life was further blessed with the joy of her four grandchildren: Brendan Charboneau, Emily (Cody) Meinhardt, James Moroney, and Jack Moroney, as well as three great-grandchildren, Alex, Theodore, and Dorian, who brought her immense happiness.

Lavina’s family also includes her dear sister, Juanita Hanna, and her caring brother, Walter (Rosine) Macomber, who shared in the many memories and milestones of her life.

Lavina was a woman of remarkable warmth and generosity, known for her radiant smile and signature dimples that could brighten the darkest of days. Her kindness and selflessness were a guiding light to all who knew her, and her legacy will endure in the hearts of those she touched.

Lavina found great joy in her work as a beautician, where her skillful hands and creative spirit left their mark on many. Demonstrating a lifelong commitment to learning, she later pursued an associate’s degree in criminal justice, showcasing her belief in the power of education and perseverance.

Her vibrant personality shone through in her love for singing, whether at church, where her voice lifted the spirits of the congregation, or at home, where her melodies filled every room. Lavina was also an avid painter and sketch artist, finding tranquility and expression in her art.

An open house to honor and celebrate Lavina’s life will be held on March 15, 2026, 11:00 AM – 3:00 PM at The Common Ground, located at 107 N Mill St., Festus, MO 63028. Family, friends, and all whose lives she touched are warmly invited to gather in remembrance of a truly extraordinary woman.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in Lavina’s memory to Blood Cancer United, an organization close to her heart.

Lavina Marie Kueker’s life was a testament to love, resilience, and the beauty of a generous spirit. Her legacy will live on in the hearts of those who were fortunate to know her, and her memory will forever be a blessing.

    Jamey and Kris, Please accept my deepest sympathies on the passing of your mother. Lavina and I had a lot of fun together since Mike and I met her and Kris at Rockport Church in the mid 90’s. We know she is with the Lord and some day we will all meet again.
