Leonard Freeman Williams, Jr.

February 5th, 1945 – July 12th, 2025

 

Leonard Freeman Williams, Jr., 80, passed away on July 12, 2025, in Saint Louis, Missouri.

 

Born on February 5, 1945 in Champaign, IL, Leonard pursued his education at Washington University, where he laid the foundation for a career in civil engineering. His dedication to the field extended beyond practice as he also shared his knowledge with students while teaching CAD at ITT Technical Institute.

 

He is survived by his daughter Sharon (Jim) Lake and son Michael (Chastity) Williams along with grandchildren: Stephanie, Madeline, Ryan, and Cole. His sister Susan Trumblay survives him as well.

 

Leonard was preceded in death by his father Leonard F Williams, Sr.; mother Geneva S Williams; and sisters Geneva H Williams and Virginia Jones.

 

A private memorial service will be held to honor Leonard’s life.
