I remember the great times we had together; Fireworks in Grafton and skiing in Minnesota. You are the Big Sister who always had my back. I will miss your sense of humor and smile. I love you and I know you are now with Dad.
Thank you Leslie for being in my life the past 30 years. Your journey is now on a new path. I have wonderful memories of travel, boating, playing raquet ball and even beating you once. Your mom use to say we were cut from the same cloth, I think she was onto something! How could two people be so stubborn?? Yet our friendship continued and I loved you for all that you were and all that you made me be. Adios mi amiga, see ya later.
My sister-in-law, Jan Gillham Girardeau, let me know about Leslie’s death. I am so very sorry. I remember when Jan was on from California, Jan & I, along with Jan’s daughter, Erica, visted Elmer & Thelma. Leslie was also at the house. That was a long time ago, but I was glad we had the chance to visit. God Bless your family. Love, Bonnie Gillham
I remember: being on Lake Minnetonka, you were sitting on top of captains chair & it was my brother or I that squirted A LOT of yellow mustard in your bikini bottoms, Nicky (white Maltese) would be swinging from Rocky’s tail (big black great Dane), they were fun to watch, one time I “ran away” across the street to your house, I always liked your company & for whatever reason- loved cleaning your house!
I know a few years ago we had a visit together back in the old neighborhood ~ I AM glad I had that chance!
Blessings to you & your family…
I’m so sorry to hear of Leslie’s passing. She will be missed. I’m sure she is in a better place now.
I am so sad about Leslie passing. She was always so full of life. Aunt Lu loved to hear Leslie’s life stories. Her Dad thought the world of her and was always praising her.
