Linda Ann Groesch-Bobb

Linda Ann Groesch-Bobb, aged 69, died peacefully on August 10, 2017 at her home in Ballwin, MO after a brief struggle with cancer. Linda was born in St Louis, MO May 31, 1948, the eldest daughter of Paul and Ann (Righter) Groesch. She is survived by her three children who will miss her very much, Christy (Kevin) Foster, Steve Bobb and Scott Bobb. She is also survived by sisters Judy Tickles and Debbie Groesch; brothers Greg (Joyce) Groesch and Michael Groesch; nephews Ryan, Ahren, Bill, Anthony and Sebastian; nieces Andrea and Sky.

She spent most of her younger years in San Antonio, TX before moving back to St Louis and attending Mercy High School (Class of 66). As a beloved member of her parish, St. Clare of Assisi and of the St. Vincent DePaul Society, she enjoyed volunteering her time to help others. Whether working in the Parish office or helping stock the SVDP food pantry, she made sure anyone that needed help received it. Her heart was huge and her caring nature knew no boundaries.

Linda was also very creative and crafty. She spend much of her free time creating miniature worlds either in her work room at home or with her friends Tammy and Julie at workshops and conventions. She was a member of several miniature organizations both locally and nationally. When she wasn’t creating miniature worlds, she could be found in her yard working in her gardens.

There will be a mass in her name on Friday September 8, 2017 at 2pm at St. Clare of Assisi 15642 Clayton Road, Ellisville, MO 63011. Following mass there will be a gathering to celebrate her life and share memories from 4pm to 8pm at the Schrader Family Center, 14960 Manchester Road, Ballwin, MO 63011. The wonderful ladies of the St Clare funeral outreach will be providing food. We hope everyone will be able to join us.

Please consider making a donation in her name to the St. Vincent DePaul Society as this organization was very near and dear to her heart. Society of St. Vincent de Paul—St. Louis PO Box 795039 St. Louis, MO 63179-0792

My deepest condolences to Linda’s family and friends. I met Linda in the early 2000s through mutual miniature friends, and we’ve maintained a long-distance friendship through our little group for many years. I will miss seeing her pop up on Facebook or email with a little joke or a kind word. She was an amazing talent, good and caring friend, and I know she is already missed. I’m glad she didn’t suffer long, but I still hate that her time with us was cut short. May all the good memories help to ease the pain of her passing.
